ABOUT THE BLOG

MHAGICSHOP  is a really personal blog that I made back in December 2015. I only planned to write poems before, since that was the only way I was coping up with what I was going through back then, and I wasn't that much of a writer before so I didn't want anyone to see my works, so I opened a blog! After a couple of years, I have decided to also share here my experiences, events, edits, and more.

Before, I just named by blog as my name, Veejay Detablan, but I don't think it actually fits what I've been posting here. My blog has been my safe space for me to share my thoughts, so I changed the name to MHAGICSHOP. I actually got it from one of BTS' songs, Magic Shop. It's a song meant to comfort and offer a hand when times are rough. The song tells how people go through hardships, but others don't listen to them. Rather than saying "cheer up" or other kinds of flowery words, they'd share their stories and own hardships, and comfort you with the words that also helped them. Through my blog, I would like to tell everyone that this blog is a safe space for you to share what you think and what you feel, and I'm ready to share my own story to you.
